FEBRUARY 2022

• *FTC Winter Track Classic on 2/11/22: Join the Florida Track Club for this fast and racing filled night at Fred Cone Track! All you can race with multiple distances on tap! FREE for FTC members so join today! Sign up here. 

• The LifeSouth Race Weekend Half Marathon and 5k: 5k on Feb. 19 and the Half Marathon on the 20th. Both races start in downtown Gainesville in front of Bo Diddley Plaza. The 5k goes through the Bed and Breakfast district while The half marathon course includes iconic landmarks such as the Hippodrome, views of Depot Park, a run across the Helix bridge, UF Campus and Lake Alice, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, the "Bacon Strip" hills of 16th Avenue and the downtown. MARCH 2022

• Race the Tortoise 5k:  Run or walk through one of Florida's most beautiful state parks! The Race the Tortoise 5K winds through the dogwood tree-lined roads of O'Leno State Park in High Springs, Florida. This flat and fast tour through the dogwoods guarantees a beautiful shaded race that should be your target for a 2022 PR! Your registration includes state park admission for the day, excellent post-race food including a hot breakfast, and unique awards including a 1-day park pass "medal" for each finisher. • LGAA 5k 3/12/22: The LGAA 5k is back in 2022 and will feature a new day and month. This years race will be on Saturday evening to allow for a fun atmosphere. Join a team and race to raise money for a charity! Sign up here. 
• *FTC Micanopy 5 and 10 Mile on 3/19/22. Join the Florida Track Club for this club event.  It is free for Florida Track Club Members and $15 for non-members. The race will start in downtown Micanopy (near the City of Micanopy Ballpark) and will mostly be on tree-lined lime rock roads. Free for FTC members. Sign up here.

APRIL 2022

• *FTC Headwaters 5k & Club Brunch  Join the Florida Track Club for this club event. This race will start at Headwaters Park in NW Gainesville. It is a flat route with few turns built for speed!   A July 4th tradition in Gainesville, the Florida Track Club hosts the 44rd Annual Jack Gamble Melon Run!  Enjoy the somewhat rolling hills on the course, try to win an age group watermelon awards and enjoy refreshments after the race.
